Desert Foxes 22 players list revealed ahead of the derby against Morocco

Algeria national squad’s coach Abdelhak Benchikha has revealed on Saturday the 22 players list selected ahead of the crucial derby against Morocco next 4 June in Marrakech, in the frame of the Day IV of CAN 2012 qualifiers.

Benchikha has called up both Brest’s defender Brahim Feradji (France League II) and ASO Chlef striker Hilal Soudani for the first time, while dropping out both Bari’s striker Abdelkader Ghezzal (Italy Serie A) and Kavala’s playmaker Djamel Abdoune (Greek Super Liga).

ES Setif goalkeeper Faouzi Chaouchi has not been called up too for the North African derby tie to be replaced by USM Harrach’s keeper Mohammed Doukha, while both Monchengladbach winger Karim Matmour (Bundesliga) and Wolverhampton midfielder (Premier League) marked their comeback to the Desert Foxes.

It is worth to mention that the Greens are to prepare the clash with Morocco in Murcia sport centre, in southern Spain as by 20 Mai.
