Desert warriors' fans prepare for a historic movement to Ouagadougou; ask for reducing tickets' price

A group of fans of the national team moved on Tuesday, to the headquarters of the Embassy of Burkina Faso in Algiers El Biar, to deposit their files to get a visa, in order to move to the capital Ouagadougou on 15 October, to support the Desert Warriors in the match for the qualification to the World Cup 2014 in Brazil against the “Horses”.

Immediately after the identity of the rival team in the play-off round, Burkina Faso, was announced Algerian fans start preparing themselves to move to Ouagadougou, and encourage Halilhodzic warriors in this important match, starting with the beginning of the process of obtaining a visa, as well as the acquisition of a ticket, so that the Embassy of Burkina Faso noticed an unusual movement on Tuesday, as 10 fans led by “Chemissou” and “Abdelkader Oran”, where they deposited their files to get a visa, with the payment of 3900 dinars, and they found great facilities by the Burkina Faso Embassy workers who received their files and gave them a date after 48 hours for the receipt of visa and get back their passports, after that the supporters went to the headquarters of Air Algerie in the Square of “Audin” in the capital, to inquire about the value of the ticket, which amounted to about 5 million and 800 thousand Algerian centimes, and this via a direct flight from Houari Boumediene International Airport towards the capital Ouagadougou.

Faced with this situation, fans of the team called upon officials of Air Algerie to take exceptional measures and reduce the price of the ticket, so as to be within the reach of many of the fans who intend to move strongly to Ouagadougou, did why not repeat the Omdurman epic in 2009. 

It is expected that the Federation of Algerian Football in coordination with its counterpart of Burkina Faso, will ensure the share of tickets to the upcoming match for Algerian fans, on August 4 Stadium, which accommodate about 35 thousand spectators.
