Dimitry Medvedev sent his condolences to President Bouteflika following flooding in the country.

The condolence telegram sent by Russian President Dimitri Medvedev reads, in part:

• “I was saddened to learn of the devastating flooding that has hit a number of Algeria’s provinces and caused loss of life.
• Mr President, please pass on my sincere condolences to the victims’ families and my heartfelt sympathy to all those affected by this natural disaster.”
