Drought threatens live stock to death
Some 5 millions of live stocks are threatened to death in the region of Djelfa (inland regions) due to severe drought never experienced since the independence of the country.

The situation reached an alarming point amid total disengagement of the local authorities to protect this wealth considered as one of the main economic resources both at the national and local levels.

Several complaints were launched by the cattle breeders to denounce this unprecedented situation in the direction of top officials including the Prime Minister and call on them to find a solution to their plight as their future is at stake.
