Echorouk accompanies Algerian Pilgrims to the Holy sites

Citizens wishing to perform the pilgrimage started on Wednesday depositing their files for the visa, at the level of a hall that was allocated by the services of interior ministry in the street of Dr. Saadan in Algiers.

During a tour which took us to the Hall of receiving files of pilgrims, Echorouk stood on a spacious hall, furnished with large sofas to ensure comfort of pilgrims, and found only three “pilgrims”, who were in the first moments of their divine trip to the holy sites, as the first came to complete the procedures for obtaining a visa, and deposited his file which contained an international passport of a current validity, the book of pilgrim for the pilgrimage season 2012, a copy of the pilgrimage payment, and two new pictures with a white background.

An administrative assistant, who was commissioned by the services of the Interior Ministry together with three agents, told Echorouk that the actual number did not exceed 30 files, within the demise of the first day of filing, adding that more people may come in the second week starting from Sunday, and that the processing of one file does not exceed one minute, to give the pilgrim a receipt of the file that includes the name, the passport number and book of pilgrimage and the date of file’s deposit, before asking pilgrims to progress again, after a week, to receive passport with indicator after showing a receipt.
