Echorouk creates its Research Centre

Echorouk newspaper annonces the creation of its “study and research centre”. The new institution will be run by the former National Library dicrector Amin Zaoui.   

• The research center is designed to conduct studies and research vith a view to promoting Arab and islamic culture in Algeria and through out the world.
• It will also carry out translation projects to and from Arabic to favour understanding and exchange of knowledge and civilization among peoples of different cultures and origins.
• Monthly seminars wil be hosted by the center to help revive cultural and intellectual activity in the Algerian society. The seminars will provide opportunities and space for debate and creation.
• The Center will launch a literray prize for poetry and short stories as an incentive to intellectual and literary production. Prominent Algerian and arab intellectuals will be members of the jury to award the literary prize of Echorouk Research center.
