Echorouk Forum: Hamma towers to be for sale

General Director of Algeria’s Saving National Fund Bank (CNEP) said Hamma towers will be offered for sale starting from next June.

• “The towers which were turned into a location for business offices will be offered for sale starting from June after works get over,” Djamel Bessaa told Echorouk in an interview on Sunday.
• Hamma towers are situated in Belouizdad municipality in next to Sofitel hotel in downtown. With their 17-19 floors, they were supposed to be a 500 social houses project in 1980 before the CNEP had handled it.
• Special loans for participative housing
• Bessaa announced special loans to fund participative housing whatever the sums the beneficiary needs in return for pawning the house until the loan is paid within 30 years maximally.
• “CNEP is working on keeping the top place in terms of housing funding and building-related activities,” he said.
• He added that the bank set a series of measures to facilitate and speed up the study of files related to those loans.
• “CNEP’s administration is going to grant the directors of its branches the prerogative to decide in the loans offer at their levels when they do not exceed five million DZ.
