At last long, the desperate mother Rekia Gherbi has recovered hope after having recognized her lost son, Abu Abdellah, who ventured with other young men across the sea, in a photo published last Thursday by “Echourouk”.

The 34-year-old Gherbi BouAbdellah has a son from a failed marriage and counts among the thousand young people who decided to live the country for merciful skies because he couldn’t afford to even buy drugs for his son according to his mother.

Before quitting his house, the young man sold all his belonging including his cell phone and bought a new suit then launched to his sister” stare carefully to this suit, which may help identify my body with it “. These were the last words uttered by the young man before his departure reported by his mother who tried to justify her son’s act by very harsh life conditions.

The mother went on saying that “her son left her on January 28, 2006 along with several companions on board of 6 boats”. Few days later she added “We heard that three bodies were found stranded on the beach, at that time I was crying before reaching the mortuary fearing to discover the body of my son, but I was petrified to see that the bodies were those of his companions”

Today, she is like hundred of mothers who are waiting for their beloved sons and is calling on the authorities to act for the release of their sons in Spain , Morocco and Libya .
