• This astounding feat is intimately mingled with last Wednesday’s magnificent triumph achieved by the Algeria football squad versus Egypt in a play-off match in Khartoum (Sudan) which allowed the valiant Algerian Fennecs to wrench, with flying colours and against all  odds, their qualification for the 2010 World cup tournament in South Africa.
• Echorouk’s brilliant achievement with a record one million copies printed per day for 36 million inhabitants is historical on all accounts as no Arab and even a European newspaper has registered so far such an astronomical print run on a daily basis with the exception of the Japanese daily “Yom Yoro Chimbon” with 12 million copies per day (2 editions per day) for 130 million inhabitants and the Chinese newspaper “The San” with around 4 million copies per day for over 1 billion 200 million inhabitants.

• In so doing, the newspaper “Echorouk” has collected all the blatant proofs for this purpose, notably stiking video and audio recordings as well as press articles on the low-down practices used by the Egyptian media in their unwarranted and malicious campaign against a loyal and respectful Algeria, whose only fault is to have valiantly clinched a world cup qualification versus Egypt in all fair-play and sportsmanship despite the glaring unsporting behaviour, the rank dishonesty and shameful hypocrisy on the Egyptian side.
