Echorrouk Al Yaoumi pays tribute to Algerian Islamic scholar Abderahmane El Djilali

Echorouk Al Yaoumi newspaper Wednesday paid tribute to the 100 –year-old Islamic scholar historian Cheikh Abderrahmane El Djilali in presence of the president of Algerian Scholars’ Association Cheikh Abderrahmane Chibane, the president of the High Islamic Council, thinker Mohamed El Hadi Hassani and a number of guests.

• As a surprise during the homage ceremony, Echorouk’s publisher Ali Fodil committed himself to collect and publish Cheikh El Djilali’s fatwas.
• Cheikh Abderrahmane El Djilali was born in 1908 in Algiers. He taught Koran and religion sciences, literature and history. He has 3 doctorates in literature, history and religion science and has written many important books.
