Echourok has unmasked the Moroccan regime : Sahrawi president reveals

In a declaration made yesterday to “Echourok” the Sahrawi president Mohammed Abdelaziz has praised the great achievement made by the Algerian journalist Anouar Malek through his fact-finding articles issued by the same newspaper concerning Human rights ‘violations committed by Moroccan authorities, and their oppression of the Sahrawi people.

  •
  • The president seized this opportunity to congratulate “Echourok” for what he qualified as a major breakthrough after slipping through the vigilance of the Moroccan intelligence services report the suffering of the Sahrawi people as well as the oppression of the Moroccan authorities in the occupied territory of” Dakhla”.
  • It should be noted that the journalist has seized the opportunity of taking part to an international forum on self determination on the occasion of the “Realm Day” to make public the Moroccan scheme to put discredit on the Sahrawi cause by associating the Sahrawi fight with the terrorist organization Al Qaeda.
  • In a telephone conversation with Echourok, the Sahrawi president has indicated that this is the first time that a journalist has succeeded to shed light on the Moroccan authorities’ hidden intents which consist in bribing the journalists to issue reports highlighting only the positive sides in the occupied territory of Dakhla.
  • “If the journalist Anouar Malek has dwelt a week more in Adakhla, he would have discovered inhuman living conditions and witnessed torture inside secret camps”, he said
  • The fact-finding report released by Echourok has shown to the world the atrocities perpetrated by the Moroccan authorities against the Sahrawi people and their denial of the legitimate right for self determination of the Sahrawi people.
  • The Sahrawi president has indicated that Anouar Malek’s report proves that the Sahrawi cause is a just one and that Algeria is still backing it.
