Education ministry denies allegations over substitution of religious education

In a communiqué yesterday released by the Education Ministry which Echourouk received a copy, the relevant authority has vehemently denied the existence of a project that intends to substitute the religious education by the traffic one at schools.

• The Education Ministry has indicated that the Arabic language, Berber, Religious education, History and Civil education make up the backbone of the national identity that no one dares to touch.
• The relevant authority has asserted that Algeria ha always promoted these matters all along the reforms undertaken on the education system since the independence. It is worth mentioning that one of the principles that the newly independent country worked hard to establish was the promotion of a sound and authentic national education, so how can we pretend after 50 years to drift apart.
