Education ministry issues 2009 examination calendar

The education ministry issued the full calendar of examinations for applicants whose starting date was fixed for February 17.

• The education administration nation wide received a copy of the 2009 academic year. This year, and for the first time ever, the examinations will take place before the baccalaureate exams and the end of the academic year to avoid all disturbances.
• The education ministry insisted on the relevant services to put the calendar public to assure transparency of the procedure, following a wave of discontent raised by some unions accusing a number of principals of hiding it to reduce the number of candidates and allow their relatives hold the posts.
