Education: Promotion of 30.000 primary school teachers and basic education professors

Ministry of Education created a service for promoting primary school teachers and professors of basic education, as an agreement was concluded with the University of Continuous training to train them for a year, to end by giving them a certificate equivalent to a bachelor’s degree, which automatically produced increases in wages and grants according to the new classification.

The meeting between the head of the office of Ministry of Education, Abdelmadjid Hadouas, with the Independent Syndicates of Education, under the framework of concerns of employees, concluded with an agreement to promote 30.000 teachers of primary schools and basic education professors, according to the ministry’s statistics.

Syndicates of Education assert that there are 80.000 teachers and professor , by subjecting them to training for a full year at the University of continuous training ,by programming “gatherings” and “sessions” for those involved during the school holidays, on Saturdays and Tuesday evenings, and during the pedagogical days, under the supervision of university professors of continuous training, or by distant education using the digital tools, where they will get all the lessons , and at the end of the formative year, they will sit for graduation examination with a memorandum graduation, reliable in the promotion directly as teachers for primary education and professors of middle school education , and it produces automatically wage increases and grants, according to the new classification.

Echorouk sources said the Ministry of Education signed an agreement with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Directorate of Public Service, pursuant to Articles 44 and 57 of the Basic Law to the staff of the sector, which has been launched to ensure training “for promotion to a higher level”, as the University of continued training will provide “theoretical” training, while the ministry ensures applicable training, in educational institutions under the supervision of inspectors.
