Education: schools paralysed after four days since entry

All sector of education, common branches, professional workers and security agents, paralyzed on Wednesday the educational institutions across the nation by 90 percent, in response to the strike which was organized by the National Union of Workers of Education and Training.

At the time the union took the opportunity to call upton the Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal and send a message to him, for urgent intervention in order to open the file of the Basic Law for users of Education, and achieve fairness for the common branches, professional workers and security agents, to maintain the stability of the sector and to miss the opportunity on what it called ‘devils’ in these tough circumstances.

 

An exploratory tour led Echorouk on Wednesday to some primary schools in Kouba, Hussein Dey, Ain Naadja, Khraisiah, to stand on the atmosphere that characterized the first day of the strike, which was called by the National Union of Workers of Education and Training, as found a response of the various wires of education, especially the category of assistants of educators, agents of economic services, managers, inspectors and advisers of school guidance.

 

While the union said in a statement that the rate of response to the protest movement has ranged between 25 and 90 percent, as an expression of their rejection of the amended Basic Law No. 12/240 and prejudices which touched large groups of employees who asserted that the law is unfair.
