Education: UNPEF asked for integrating university graduated teachers, threaten of paralyzing schools on November 25
National Union of Workers of Education and Training (UNPEF) announced its adherence to the national strike which it set the date of Nov. 25 for its launch, if the Ministry of Education refused to consider the national demands that were described as “urgent”, and which were lifted by the union at the national council.
Head of the National Union of Workers of Education and Training, Sadek Dziri, told Echorouk, that the union will decide about the national strike that was organized from 25 November on Sunday at the Ministry of National Education.
“The union is committed to its protest movement, and will not back down from its decision, because it is not an individual decision but a decision that is emanating from the national Council’s meeting of last week in Blida.”
“UNPEF had extended the protest’s date to the 25th November to search “peaceful” solutions with the Ministry of National Education, about the demands that were raised and which were described as urgent, and therefore the protest is not the goal, so the ministry has sufficient time to study the problems and then can find a resolution”.
