Education: UNPEF calls upon Bouteflika to intervene for considering the sector’s demands
National Union of Workers of Education and Training (UNPEF) called upon the President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika, for urgent intervention in order to reconsider the law on users of Education sector, which has marginalized many categories.
In contrast, the union handed over copies of the letter to the governors of Republic to be directed to the first judge of the country President Abdelaziz Bouteflika.
Head of the National Union of Workers of Education and Training, Sadek Dziri, told Echorouk, that the UNPEF preferred, for the second time, to call upon the President Bouteflika as he is the first judge of the country, in a folded letter which they called “a grievance and request letter for justice”, as they explained the problems of the sector, through the rehabilitation of the marginalized category by the law, in addition to the file to request a job.
First official of the European Union added that the UNPEF is hoping good in President Bouteflika to address the imbalances in the law 08/315 as amended and supplemented to the law 12/240, which was released in July 2012 in the Official Gazette No. 34, after it was signed by former Prime Minister Ahmed Ouyahia, as the syndicate indicated in its letter, that all the basic laws for the Education Sector – 68/302, 68/308, 82/511 and 90/49 – since independence to 2007 did not force the staff in service at the time of the laws’ issuance to be integrated at the new basic level, and were integrated directly and immediately.
