Education:Technical education teachers refuse to sit for November competitions

National Commission of Technical Education Teachers in Secondary technical schools rejected the condition to sit for the competition of promotion and competence that is scheduled for next November, as the Education Ministry does not recognize the certificate of professional competence for teaching in the secondary and technical education that is obtained by technical education teachers in the secondary and technical schools after 20 years of service.

Commission for teachers of technical and secondary schools , criticized in a statement, which copy is available to Echorouk, the Human Resources Manager Bousahia who said; “ 700 Teachers of technical education will be promoted to the rank of professor of secondary education after the professional exam”.

The statement added, “Action that was taken by the Ministry of Education to settle the status of teachers of technical education, opposes contrasts the professional situation, as they performed tasks of professor of secondary education, for more than 20 years, then they obtained certificates of competency and got satisfactory educational reports by inspectors of Education, according to the Executive Decree 08-315 of article 174.”

The Commission explained that the professor of technical education passed three stages in the work, the first before the issuance of the decree 90-49, when he was appointed a professor of secondary education and succeeded in the exam of professional competence for the professorship of secondary and technical education, and has not been incorporated, adding; “General Basic Law of public function in Article 86 includes the proposal of demarcation by the eligible authority, depending on the registration in the list of competence that is presented to the administrative Committee Members.”
