Emir of Kuwait stands in silent remembrance of Revolution martyrs
Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah at Maqam Echahid (Martyr's Sanctuary) in Algiers.
ALGIERS- Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Tuesday stood in silent remembrance of the martyrs of the glorious National Liberation Revolution at Maqam Echahid (Martyr's Sanctuary) in Algiers.
After reviewing a detachment of the Republican Guard, the Emir of Kuwait laid a wreath before the memorial stele of the sanctuary and recited Al Fatiha (the Opening Surah of the Holy Qur’an) in the memory of the revolution martyrs.
Emir of Kuwait arrived Tuesday morning to Algiers for a two-day official visit at the invitation of President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika.
This visit aims at strengthening fraternal ties and bilateral cooperation.
