Employment agencies offer job opportunities to jobless in Dubai and Libya
Several employment agencies in Algeria have initiated a new strategy which consists in sealing contracts with young job applicants to work outside the country more specifically in the Arab World in exchange of a sum of money, in hard or local currency, that the applicants had to pay for these offices in return of the service, valued at 200 thousand Algerian Dinars.
-
Among the destinations that these offices are suggesting to the young applicants are countries like Libya and Dubai but the targeted workforce doesn’t include graduate people. Instead, carpenters, masons, electricians, painters and plumbers have more chances to get a job.The recruiters use strong arguments to attract this workforce including housing, catering, huge salaries and other professional advantages unspecified in the contract. It looks like a fair deal but reality is just the opposite because the new recruits are not protected the legislation, thus prone to several breaches.
- The second type of employment contracts includes skilled personnel like university graduate and drivers destined top work in countries like Dubai and Abu Dhabi. For the first category the main requirement is a perfect mastery of the English language, while the basic elements of the language are required from the second category.
