FAF asks European clubs to authorise Algeria players to leave before May 12th
Algeria Coach Rabeh Saadane
Head of the Algerian Football federation (FAF) Mohamed Raouraoua is trying to find out a way to enable all the national team’s players to join the training in Switzerland before May 12th, Echorouk has learnt.
-
-
The FAF will send official requests to the professional players’ clubs asking for an authorisation grant before May 12th, says the same source.
-
-
The requests were not sent to all the clubs where there are Algerian players as some European championships will be finished before May 10th.
-
-
12 players not concerned by FAF’s request
-
-
A total of 12 professional players will not be mentioned in the request as their championships will be over before May 10th.
-
-
Players Antar Yahia, Karim Ziani, Amri Chadli and Karim Matmour will join the training on its first day as the German championship will be finished on May 8th.
-
-
According to the German championship traditions, all the players must train after the competition for a week. Yet, it is likely that the Algerian players will be authorised to leave.
-
-
Algeria’s Belhadj, Yebda, Guedioura and Bouazza will not have any problem to join the camp as all the football championships in England will be over before May 9th.
-
-
Players Rafik Halliche and Madjid Bouguerra will go to Switzerland nefore the fixed date as the Portuguese and Scottish championships will be finished on May 9th. Rafik Djebbour will find himself with no commitment by the end of April.

Problem with France, Spain and Italy’s players
-
-
The FAF will have to send an official request to the Algerian players’ clubs in Spanish, French and Italian championships.
-
-
It will have little chances to benefit from Rafik Saifi, Djamel Abdoune, Ryad Boudebouz and Yazid Mansouri’s services as the French first league will be over on May 15 while the second league will be finished a day before.
-
-
Mansouri may arrive on time as he is not playing with his club but the three other players may stay and join the team five days after the launch of the training.
-
-
Local players will loose Cup final match
-
-
The Algerian championship clubs will have to leave their international players as they will have to join the national team staring from May 10th.
-
-
It has not been confirmed yet whether the international players will be able to join their clubs if they qualify to the final match.
