FAF called upon football fans to show good sportsmanship during the match Algeria vs. Morocco
Algerian Football Association (FAF) called upon the national team fans to show fair play and have a sense of civic responsibility ahead of a match against Morocco on Sunday, the third day of Africa Cup of Nations (ACN 2012) qualification.
Algeria’s governing body of football invited the fans to “respect national anthems of both countries (at the beginning of the game), not to use pyrotechnic devices (smoke or flares), which are dangerous to the crowd and prejudicial to national team that may face FIFA and CAF punishments,” the FAF writes on its website.
“The spectators should also refrain from taking cans, bottles or any other type of projectile to the stage.”
