FAF eminent new president names staff

The only candidate to the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) elections has set up a list for his federal bureau including names who have never held positions at the FAF.

• Mohamed Raouraoua who is likely to be elected at the head of the FAF on February 16 has chosen the two former international referees Belaid Lekarne and Djezzar.
• Abdelkader Chaabane will be Raouraoua’s surprise as he preferred to join the federal bureau after he had given up participating in the elections.
• Former member Mohamed Mechrara is expected to hold his position in the federal bureau once again while Rabeh Madjer has likely accepted to work with the new federal bureau.
• A well-known French coach is also expected to be the chief of the new technical staff.
