FAF president looks for German man fluent in French to be Algeria coach
President of the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) Mohamed Raouraoua
President of the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) Mohamed Raouraoua asked a manager to look for a German coach who speaks French to succeed Algeria’s former coach Rabah Saadane, according to a source from the FAF.
-
“Though Raouraoua talked to Serbian coach Halilovich and he confirmed that he could supervise the Algerian team, he prefers to continue looking for the best successor,” said the same source.

-
Negotiations with Cameroon former coach Winfried Schaefer may have started as he speaks French and has important knowledge about the African football.
-
-
Raouraoua’s inbox received a large number of CVs from tens of coaches from all over the world.
-
-
Echorouk has also learnt that well-known coaches sent their CVs. That means world football observers are interested in the national team as they include many excellent players. Of them, Enrico Fabro wanted to succeed Rabah Saadane but his application will be rejected due to his modest level.
-
-
Sources told Echorouk the national team will not camp in Leonardo De Vinci hotel in Paris as the FAF’s officials could not book on time.
-
-
The cancellation of the training was not due to the booking problem but a French team booked the hotel before them.
