Fake terrorist group busted in Algiers' suburbs

The national gendarmerie elements of the locality of Bouchaoui (20 Km west of Algiers) brought four criminals before the judge accused of theft and assault on the forest goers last summer.

• Allegations spread panic among the habitués of the forest saying that the criminals were part of a terrorist group, but the wrongdoers turned to be vulgar thieves who pretended to be sport’s practitioners the day to deprive their “prays” at dawn of their personal belongings including money and cell phones.

• The first investigations carried out by the national gendarmerie were crowned by the arrest of a group of suspects among them one of the criminals who was identified by his victim.

• To recall the criminals committed 7 assaults last summer on innocent civilians in this forest.
