Informed sources revealed to Echorouk that the Federal Bureau of Investigations in Algeria “FBI”, which opened recently a branch at the U.S. Embassy, proceeded special files study about terrorist cells movement in Algeria, in addition to that Federal investigators have expressed their interest in the Algerian investigations concerning the fight against all kinds of organized crimes.

• The same sources reported that the bureau which is working in coordination with the FBI in Paris showed a great concern to Algerian investigators work, especially in the issues of smuggling cars and falsifying official papers, which are often used by criminal networks organizations and that are in relations with terrorist groups including the “SGFP”.
• The Same bureau is interested in smuggling cigarettes issues across the borders, particularly in the southern Algerian borders, where terrorist groups of the African coast are activating, considered very dangerous and threatening stability of the African continent, in addition to money laundering file.
