Fiat Chrysler Executive Board To Decide Soon On Automotive Factory Project In Algeria

Italy’s Ambassador in Algeria, His Excellency, Mr. Pasquale Ferrara, told “Echorouk” that Fiat Chrysler’s board of directors will decide soon on the company’s automotive plant projects, while confirming that the Italian company has not abandoned its project designed to foster an automobile industry in Algeria.
“The executive board of Fiat Chrysler was supposed to announce the details of its project in Algeria last February, but it will be announced soon,” said Ambassador Pasquale Ferrara on the sidelines of the International Environment and Renewable Energies conference.
According to our interlocutor, the company is in the process of collecting data and details about the project and its feasibility, especially after the delegations of the company repeated exploratory visits to Algeria, thus giving the Italian Ambassador the strong impression that the company hasn’t forsaken its outstanding investment project in Algeria and that the relevant official announcement is still only a question of time.
