FIFA sold all television broadcasting rights for the 2010 World Cup finals at $2.4 to 2.5 billion.

• The last country to finalize a deal was Nigeria, FIFA TV executive Nicolas Ericson told a media briefing in Johannesburg. The amount of money  generated by the sell is bigger than the expected $2.1 billion published by world soccer’s ruling body in its annual report.
