FIFA to force the Egyptian squad to play outside Cairo
The Egyptian national squad will be compelled to play two to three matches counting for the qualifiers to the 2014 world Cup in Brazil outside their premises as part of the sanctions likely to be issued by the FIFA against them in the wake of the attack over the Algerian bus in Cairo.

The international football governing body (FIFA) is due to confer with the Egyptian side alongside the match’s supervisors for the last time on Thursday in order to decide on the appropriate sanctions on the basis of the evidences that clearly showed that the bus of the “Greens” was attacked on November,12 in Cairo, Echourok has learnt.

The decision will be made public on Thursday afternoon and will be posted on the FIFA official website. In addition to the eventuality of banning the Egyptian squad from playing at home for two or three matches during the upcoming world cup qualifiers, they will be fined $ 100 thousands and have to make formal apologies to the Algerian people.

It should be noted that the FIFA representative, Walter Gagg and the president of the Sudanese Football Association Kamel Cheddad have issued an overwhelming report against the Egyptians in the wake of the tragic events.

Moreover, the events that allegedly took place in Oumdarmen, Sudan were not mentioned at all on the FIFA’s report reducing thus to nil the attempt to lure the Egyptian General public as a last ditch effort from Samer Zaher to cushion the shock.
