Five people arrested for evangelization in Algeria

Five individuals including 4 Algerians and a Moroccan Sunday appeared before the judge in the town of Tiaret (west of Algeria ) on charges of evangelization practices.

According to sources, security authorities received complaints from citizens who talked about suspicious activities by the group, but investigations carried out by the police didn’t prove any illegal activities in relation to evangelization, even if they (convicts) acknowledged their Christian faith.

To recall, these individuals declared to the investigators that their were in Tiaret to pay a visit to their friends and denied any link with evangelization .
