FLN leader: Sellal is a bad player

Secretary General of Algeria’s FLN party Amar Saadani opened fire on Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal and described him as “bad player and the man who was not created for politics.”

This comes as Sellal said the Algerian people do not need any political mediator to choose their president. He called on political parties leaders to not talk on behalf of people.

Saadani told TSA news website the Prime Minister does not have the politician’s spirit. “Sellal was not created for politics and he is a bad player in this pitch,” he said. He added that Sellal should not be involved in politics.
Saadani believes that no authority has the right to intervene in the political life, justice and the press.
Observers raise questions about the strength source which inspires the FLN’s leader to make such statements as he talks in behalf of the party without a political office. All it seems that Saadani’s remarks will not stop as he cited the man No 2 in the government. That also raises questions about Sellal’s position towards President Abdelaziz Bouteflika’s possible fourth term.
