Focus On the Official Who Withered Pt Macron at French Embassy in Algeria

The French newspaper specializing in investigations “Mediapart”, unveiled the reasons behind the invitation extended to the French businessman of Algerian origin, Alexander Djohari, who is imprisoned in Britain for the investigation into the money bribery received by former French President Nicolas Sarkozy, to attend the reception called for by the current French President, Emmanuel Macron, on the seventh of last December.
According to the newspaper, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs of France, Maurice Gordo Montagni, who commissioned the French Ambassador in Algeria, Mr. Xavier Driencourt, to register the name of Alexander Djohari, among the guests to attend the reception called by Macron, during his recent visit to Algeria, was filled with controversy, as the other guests included Algerian writer Kamel Daoud, and the Algerian novelist who unashamedly visited the State of the Zionist entity more than once, namely Boualem Sansal.
According to the same source, the name of the businessman wanted by French justice in the case in which Nicolas Sarkozy was arrested was referred to by the French satirical newspaper “Le Canard Enchainé” on December 8, a day after the relevant event was organized.
According to the French newspaper, Alexander Djohari enjoyed great protection on the part of decision makers in the French state, and the case also pointed to the involvement of other names in the financing of Sarkozy’s campaign in the presidential elections in 2007, thanks to funds he had received from the then Kaddafi regime.
The embarrassing presence of Alexander Djohari at the Embassy event called for by President Macron in Algeria, and his appearance before the French press alongside the first man in the Elysée Palace, left a great controversy, and placed Macron in an awkward position because the Algerian businessman was a fugitive from French justice.
It is known that Alexander is required to appear in court on charges of involvement in financing Sarkozy’s election campaign in 2007 by the late Libyan leader Moamer Kadhafi.
Alexander Djohari is a close associate of French political leaders, like former French Prime Minister Dominique de Villepin and former presidents Jacques Chirac and Sarkozy.
Djohari escaped from French justice, but was later arrested in Britain on charges leveled against him by French justice and is now there, pending a decision on whether or not to hand him over to France.
It is noteworthy that many officials in the former Libyan regime of late Muammar Gaddafi, including the former Libyan intelligence chief, Abdullah al-Senoussi, as well as Gaddafi’s son, Saif al-Islam, have confirmed that Sarkozy covertly received about 50 million dollars of Libyan money to finance his 2007 presidential campaign.
