Football: 4 new Algerian professional players to beef up the Algeria squad ahead of qualifiers
Four new Algerian football players, based in Europe, are highly expected to be incorporated shortly by national coach Rabah Saadane in the Algeria line-up after the green-light from the world football governing body FIFA, according to well-informed sources from the FIFA federation.
The four coveted Algerian professionals are Hassan Yabda who plays for the team of le Mans, Mourad Makni, who plays for Lazio of Rome in Italy, Djamel Abdoune for Sedan and Karim Aghouazi, who plays for his part, for the French club of Metz.
These 4 talented players, who have exceeded the age of 21, should as a result secure a special dispensation from the International Football Federation to be able to join the Algeria football squad.
To this effect, the Algerian Football Federation FAF has entrusted the former FIFA and CAF member Mohamed Raouraoua with the task of convincing the FIFA of giving a special authorization to these 4 Algerian football scrappers to join shortly the “Fennecs” in expectation of the combined Africa’s world cup 2010 qualifiers.
