Football club ES Setif honors Ali Fodhil and MBC’s Mustapha Al Agha

The local authorities of the eastern province of Setif have the day before yesterday organized a ceremony for Echourok’s publisher Ali Fodhil alongside the sportscaster of the Arab channel MBC Mustapha Al Agha and the former football international Mahmoud Guendouz.

• The invitees then moved to “ Zidane “ hotel where a small and intimate ceremony took place on their honor. The guests expressed their gratitude to the managers of the football club ES Setif for this laudable initiative which has become a tradition.

• By honouring Ali Fodhil, ES Setif wanted to pay tribute to a man who played a major role in defending the honor of the Algerian country and people alike during the spiteful campaign launched by the Egyptians in the wake of the qualification to the world cup.

• ES Setif managers have seized this opportunity to honor MBC’s Mustapha Al Agha and expressed their gratitude for a man who deployed tremendous efforts and used his talent and professionalism to circumvent the crisis that broke out between Algeria and Egypt.

• The Former international Mahmoud Guendouz was also honored by the club’s managers chaired by the President Abdelhakim Serrar who offered him the club’s jersey with his name on, turning thus the page on an old conflict between the two men when Guendouz has declared on air on MBC’s set that Serrar have to give him personally the jersey not through a third party.
