Football/ Echorouk reveals hidden side of so-called « Ziani affair » with OM Marseille

In striking revelations made to Echorouk newspaper, the father of Algerian Karim Ziani, who plays for OM Marseille, has said that his son has been the target of a malicious plot hatched by several Marseille players.

Speaking to the press outside the current training camp in Paris by the Algerian national line-up, Rabah Ziani said Ciss, Nasri and captain Kana had been plotting against Karim Ziani with the unavowed aim of driving him out of the club against his will.

He explained, in this connection, that Nasri, for instance, totally ignores Ziani on the pitch while Ciss and Kana act as newsmongers before the coach in an attempt to embroil his faultless son into a mess with the leading staff of the club.

In a bid to salvage his promising footballing career, Karim Ziani is now seriously considering a transfer next season to another high-profile outfit probably to the Spanish team of Valencia .

The talented Algerian midfielder has already received offers from the French sides of Paris Saint Germain, Sochaux and Lens in the aftermath of his insidious trials with OM Marseille but Karim Ziani’s mind  is reportedly set, now, on the Spanish Ligua.
