Dutch coach of English Premier League squad of Everton, Ronald Koman, has jotted Algerian international Islam Slimani in his notebook for a hovering recruitment.

Coach Koman wants to recruit striker Islam Slimani, in compensation for the departure from Everton of Belgian international front-line forward Romelo Lucaco on 10th July for Manchester United.

Everton’s top Manager tried to bring French forward Olivier Giroux from Arsenal but Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger refused to let him go, making Ronald Koman opt for the second alternative in the person of Islam Slimani, British press reports said on Monday.

Islam Slimani, aged 29, is linked to Leicester City by a 2021 summer contract, but the ‘Foxes’ Management may allow the Algerian goal-scorer to move to Everton, especially if they receive a respectable financial offer.

Islam Slimani has failed to shore up his career with Portugal’s Sporting Lisbon by moving to England’s Leicester City in the summer of 2016, for  a transfer fee worth 35 million Euros.

The Everton team was placed seventh in the English Premier League’s overall standings, which ended in May.

On the 9th of this July, talented English striker Wayne Rooney also joined the Everton club after playing for 13 years in a row for Manchester United.
