Yacine Bezzaz.
In an exclusive interview with Echorouk, Algerian international Yacine Bezzaz dwells on the next Algeria / Egypt qualifier slated for June 7th in Blida as part of the combined 2010 World cup / Africa cup of nations tournament, stressing to this effect that the Greens are able to get the better of the Egyptians during the upcoming decisive confrontation.

As a matter of fact, my injury was not very serious and after intensive care extended to me by the team’s doctor, I guess, I will be fit again within one or 2 weeks at the latest.
-
“
-
I am expecting, on the advice of my doctor, to resume official competition in about 3 weeks.
-
My reintegration into the line-up will take place gradually but mind you, I should tell you that I will be fully ready for the next qualifier in Blida versus Egypt.
-
Undoubtedly, the absence of a key player in the line-up of his country is surely an asset for the opposing team.
-
But, Egypt national coach Chehata has on hand other seasoned players to fill the vacuum.
-
Nevertheless, we are not really interested in the composition of the Egyptian line-up as such. Our sole objective is to do our outmost to win this match in order to boost our chances of qualification for the 2010 World cup in South Africa.
-
I must say that the Egypt squad is widely regarded as a potent line-up on the continental football scene as they clinched the African cup of nations title in the last 2 tournaments.
-
They have a solid and coherent group, indeed. Several Egyptian internationals play in the European championships.
-
So, they have acquired a bona-fide experience and resilience.
-
But, be that as it may, we are fully conscious of the difficult task versus these Egyptians next June.
-
Anyway, the Greens have also their own assets to set forth and we are determined to pull out all the stops on the pitch in the Blida qualifier to carry the day with flying colours.
