Former Algerian Transport Minister, Mohamed Maghlaoui, dies at the age of 65

Mohamed Maghlaoui, Transport Minister between 2004 and 2008, passed away in Algiers at the age of 65 following a long disease.

According to the APS press agency, M. Maghlaoui had followed medical treatment in Algerian and foreign hospitals.

His disease compelled him to quit the government in June 2008, after the nomination of Ahmed Ouyahia at the head of the Algerian government.

Late Mohamed Maghlaoui will be buried in his native town of Skikda, in the east of the country.
