Former beneficiaries of small houses can apply for larger ones

As part of new procedure initiated by the housing ministry, families that acquired single rooms’ houses have the possibility to apply for a bigger one in order to benefit from more appropriate housing conditions.

Reliable sources from the housing ministry have revealed to Echourouk that the decision has been endorsed by the minister Abdelmadjid Tebboun and will be in force in the upcoming few days.

The move will put an end to suffering of the families whose dossiers were excluded from the future housing projects because they have already benefitted from housing units in the previous ones.

These families have the possibility to apply for the acquisition of a larger house after receiving the go ahead of a committee entrusted with examining their cases provided they desist from their old single –room house in favour of the relevant authorities.
