Former ring leader’s call was caused dissentions among terrorist groups

The Algerian interior minister, Noureddine Yazid Zerhouni declared from Blida ( 40 kms from Algiers) that the terrorist groups are facing though times and internal conflicts following the message delivered by the former leader of the “ Salafit Group for Call and Combat” Hassen Hattab, who called for repentance and surrender to the authorities.

• Talking in a conference call, on the sidelines of the president’s visit to this province, M Zerhouni said that Hattab’s call was one of the episodes of a long series of calls for repentance and return to the right path.
• As to Hassen Hattab’s legal situation, the minister has declared that his case was an exception and required a special treatment, denying to give further details.
• M Zerhouni went on saying that the terrorist groups received heavy and targeted blows from the security forces adding that the outcome of the new security strategy was fruitful.
