Former terrorist leader calls for repentance on TV

The Qatari satellite channel “Al Jazeera” beamed on air for the first time ever a message from the founder of the terrorist organization “ Salafit Group for call and Combat” Hassen Hattab, in which he called for the followers of the other terrorist leader Droudkel to surrender.

• He addressed the young people who “ think of bearing arms to target their fellow citizens or the institutions” saying that “ what you are doing has nothing to do with the holy war moreover; it harms Islam and spread discord among the Islamic community”.
• Hassen Hattab added that the terror acts perpetrated by the Salafit Group for Call and Combat” play in favour of the enemies of Islam reiterating once again that these acts have nothing in common with “Djihad”.
• To confirm the authenticity of the voice message, “Echorouk” talked to Hattab’s parents and relatives who recognized his voice and confirmed that “ it was him”, but his mother denied to make any comment concerning the message.
