France sells military equipment to Algeria

French Prime Minister, François Fillion declared that “his country is ready to provide Algeria with military equipment and arms”, revealing the content of the contract signed between both countries saying” the deal talks about security cooperation, and training opportunities for Algerian officers”.

• He added that his country was is ready to provide the Algerian army with arms if asked to do so, adding that the deal signed Sunday regarding the selling of arms comprises the acquisition of helicopters declining to give further details.
