France to expand the list of “danger zones” to 30 countries

France will expend the list of countries classified as « danger zones », which includes Algeria and other thirty countries, and impose more of the right security procedures on their passengers coming to from through inspection and screening, as Paris is considering ways to provide its airports with scanners and even explosives-detection dogs, thing which would violate the passengers rights. 

• France took only a few days to cope with tough measures adopted by the US government on the Algerian passengers and those from a lot of other countries that are deemed as a threat to its national security, as the French Interior Minister Brice Hortefeux asserted that the danger of terrorism is already in place threatening France which decided to expend the list of countries classified as “danger zones”, and which included citizens from Algeria, Yemen, Syria, Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan, Mali, as to become thirty countries.
• In addition to the procedures established by the US government on fourteen countries, including Algeria, considering them a danger to its national security, now France which do not have scanners which can show everything under clothing, is seeking the acquisition of these devises to monitor passengers from the “suspicious” countries, despite their high prices. The French Interior Minister said “even dogs trained to detect explosives are good for control and inspection”.
• According to this classification, a lot of Algerian passengers are expecting to face tight checks on the French-bound flights.
• The French authorities intend to punish the airlines operating on its territories and which refuse to show data about their passengers, through obliging a penalty of 50 thousand Euros.
• France has sought, according to its minister, to protect its airports, just like the US president Barack Obama, who sought to protect America’s security starting from its outside borders through violating the rights of other countries’ passengers.
