France to receive Algerian Guantanamo detainees as politician refugees
French government is ready to receive three Algerians still detained in Guantanamo as political refugees; two of them are not guilty, while the U.S security authorities are not sure about the third Algerian’s case, Echorouk’s reliable sources said.

France welcomed the reception of the three detainees, particularly after they were declared not guilty from the charges on being involved in the bombings of the British and U.S embassies in 2002.

Previously, Bosnian government refused to receive them on the pretext that they do not have the Bosnian citizenship, despite they were residing there when arrested, that’s why the American authorities directed invitation to all the European countries in order to receive the freed Guantanamo detainees, including the three Algerians.

The French authorities also said they have to master the French language in order to integrate easily into the French society, for this reason the Organization for Defending the Algerian detainees “Lakhdar Boumediene, Ben Sayeh Belkassem and Saber Lahmar”, is trying to persuade the French authorities to receive them, noting that the American authorities decided to release them after being sure they are not guilty and they do not belong to Al Qaida, which implemented both the British and U.S embassies in Bosnia 2002.
