French president: Algeria is the biggest victim of terrorism

The French president François Hollande has yesterday praised the Algerian stand in its fight against terrorism saying” Algeria has suffered for long years from terrorism, and if there is one country that suffered from barbarianism, it should be Algeria”.

Talking before MPs at the parliament in Strasbourg , the president singled out the role of Algeria in the fight against terrorism considering the latest hostage taking in Ain Amenass another evidence of the plight that hit Algeria.

“I will not discuss the Algerian military assault on the terrorist that sequestrated 600 people’ in reference to the intervention of the Algerian special forces to free the hostages that led to the killing of dozens of them.

  The French Press Agency (AFP) has quoted the president as saying” We need the support of Algeria in this area of the world to combat terrorism, promote a developing policy and start conduct a political dialogue including with Touareg”.
