Frozen meat from Brazil and India to break prices in Ramadan

“Proda” company is conducting negotiations with foreign traders to import large quantities of frozen meat during Ramadan, and import live calves, in order to brake the prices and make this article in the hands of consumers, in addition to store important quantities of chicken meat with doubling the points of sell, as the price is expected not to exceed 250 dinars in Ramadan.

Professional office for meat and vegetables prepared an intensive program for Ramadan, in order to protect the consumers and producers from possible changes in the market.

General manger of the office Ben Allal Sahraoui, assured the citizens, in an interview with Echorouk, that the farming products will be available during Ramadan, in implementation of a board program that was prepared by the Ministry of Agriculture saying; “Meat prices will notice a stability, with expect to some disturbances in the first week in markets due to the raising demands”.

“Large quantities of red and white meat will be stored and then sold in case of high prices, as they exceed what was stored last year, in addition to allocating a part for the southern cities in implementation to an instruction made by the Minister of Agriculture”.
