The German government’s spokesman, Ulrich Fulhalm , announced that the Chancellor Angela Merkel will pay a two day visit to Algeria on Wednesday , leading a high-ranking business delegation.

He added that the German Chancellor will have an opportunity to discuss several political issues with the Algerian president Abdelaziz Bouteflika, in addition to a series of meetings with many representatives from the civil society, including the Christian community in Algeria.

According to the program announced by Fulham from Berlin, the German chancellor will make a speech at the German-Algerian chamber of commerce and lay wreath on the martyrs’ sanctuary.
