Germany and Algeria reach deal in various sectors of activities
Germany and Algeria Thursday signed a deal regarding the technical follow up by a German research department of the great Algiers mosque in the presence of both the Algerian president and the German chancellor.

The Algerian religious affairs minister revealed that the project will cost 1 million euros with a capacity of 120 thousand prayers. The German consortium was assigned to carry the technical and studies out pending the next step concerning the realisation of the project.

Apart from this deal, various projects were on top of the agenda during the negotiations between Angela Merkel and Abdelaziz Bouteflika including discussions around energy, industry and defence sectors.
