Ghanouchi: interior minister is wrong about Algeria’s fears of Tunisian revolution
Tunisia’s head of government Ali Larayedh is expected to pay a visit to Algeria on Monday as part of cooperation and consultation in common interest issues on bilateral, regional and international levels.
“This will be Larayedh’s first official visit out of Tunisia,” leader of Nahda movement Rached Ghanouchi told Echorouk on Sunday.
He added that Larayedh will talk about many points in security, military and economic fields.
“Current sensitive circumstances in Tunisia, southern Algeria, Libya and the other countries in the region need this visit as well as consultation and union to face all threats and challenges,” he said.
He described the visit as “comprehensive.”
He also said Tunisian interior minister Lotfi Ben Djedou “made an expression mistake” as he had told a local radio channel Algerian authorities were afraid that Tunisia “would export revolution to Algeria.”
