“Gloviz” To host Latest Car Factory In Africa And Middle East

South Korean manufacturer Kia Motors Corporation, through its CEO of the Middle East and Africa, Kyung Hyeon Kim, commented on the choice of the Algerian partner, Global Motors.
The President and CEO of Kia Motors Corporation for the MENA region took the opportunity of the first anniversary ceremony of the inauguration of the “Gloviz” car plant to express his opinion on the choice of Global Group as a partner, stating that “this decision was taken without any external pressure but according to viable commercial and professional selection criteria.
“We chose, he said, the candidate who presented the best track record in an industry over the long term, especially since this partner has proven its success with Hyundai Motors Corporation, of which we are from the same Group, in the manufacture of trucks and buses through GMI”.
The KMC representative added that “we firmly believe in Gloviz’s ability to meet the Algerian State’s expectations and launch a Full CKD industry whose work to finalize the plant is in progress”.
Mr. Kyung Hyeon Kim also announced that “Gloviz” has submitted the final approval application and this “with our support and contribution to the company’s capital” in order to move on to a more exciting stage, especially “with the beginning of the implementation of a subcontracting network with the project to create 1,000 small and medium-sized companies, some of which have pleasantly surprised us with rapid progress in the handling and manufacture of automotive accessories and thus achieving a high integration rate”.
The KMC representative concluded by stating that “this partnership with Global Group exceeds Kia Motors’ expectations, as “Gloviz” has successfully lived up to the challenge of assembling our Kia models while respecting the required quality, and this comforts us in our choice”, as he put it.
